The Success Story of ACKTEC & Brankas

We are bringing you the success stories of our future-thinking startups. After meeting through the Global Innovation Alliance Indonesia accelerator program, ACKTEC has partnered with Brankas to optimize the ACKTEC payment system. This partnership allows B2B customers to receive a more localized payment experience when customers purchase ACKTEC’s pedagogically-immersive solutions.

About ACKTEC

The startup specializes in providing a digital learning ecosystem that structures and digitizes learning and development (L&D) content for educational organizations, large-scale MNCs companies in the growth stage, and companies scaling beyond their borders. ACKTEC helps organizations transform and be part of the global digital learning ecosystem.

About Brankas

The startup delivers its services by working with numerous banks and financial institutions to enhance accessibility for the market, allowing technology companies to build better financial experiences in their own products. Brankas has more than 10 million API calls monthly and is integrated with more than 80 financial institutions.

The Partnership

At the GIA Jakarta Batch 2 Acceleration Program, ACKTEC is introduced to the CEO of Brankas, Todd D Scheweitzer, a mentor of GK Plug and Play Indonesia. After their meeting, ACKTEC kickstarted its goal to expand overseas, particularly in Indonesia. Brankas’ bespoke solutions in building financial infrastructure were utilised to facilitate the ACKTEC payment system. This enables ACKTEC customers to achieve quicker payment localization as the preferred mode of payment becomes available for a wide range of B2B markets.

Rayvan Ho, CEO of ACKTEC, believes that localization is crucial for startups’ growth and development. He added that understanding the market and the product proved important in ACKTEC’s expansion into Indonesia. Ho fully supports Plug and Play as a global platform for startup founders to source talents, find necessary partners, and quickly network within the wide ecosystem provided by Plug and Play.
